To introduce teachers and pupils to the potential of MIDI interface technology in teaching and learning music.
To train teachers in basic computing and in the use of cross-platform software in the music curriculum.
To develop models of good practice in using ICT to teach music.
Participants to provide feedback on their experiences of using the technology.

|
Development of teaching resource materials, student materials (to be pressed onto CD) and pedagogic strategies for teaching and learning music using the new technologies.
Development and dissemination of examples of good practice in education.
Critical examination of the suitability of the selected software.
Training teachers how to use ICT as a tool to deliver the music curriculum.
