This project explored the use of ICT to enhance the teaching of art history at Leaving Certificate level, with students developing a reference CD-ROM using a range of software programs.

To develop teachers' technical skills in the use of ICT.
To develop a cross-curricular approach for this project.
To use ICT to research and present knowledge in an interesting fashion for this project.
To distribute information to other schools via CD-ROM.
To improve the literary and artistic skills of students through multimedia.
To encourage the LCVP students to collaborate with junior cycle students and primary school students.

Teachers to acquire additional technical skills, become informed on the value of ICT as a teaching medium, experience the value of peer support, and acquire information regarding resources and educational sites etc.
Students to be provided with opportunities to experience new learning techniques.
Creation of a project presentation on CD using the software package HyperStudio.
Production of a CD for distribution to other schools.
