Developing a Local Community-Based Network through Integration of ICT in Curriculum (SIP064)
This project used ICT to develop network links between a number of schools. It developed the ICT skills of staff and students, promoted the value of technology in learning and teaching new skills and fostered inter-school linkages.

  • To establish links between local primary schools and the community to integrate the use of ICT.
  • To develop cultural awareness within the community.
  • To reinforce cross-curricular links to exchange materials, skills and local expertise with the community.
  • To promote community links with surrounding schools to enhance teaching and learning.

  • Pupils to participate and gain enhanced knowledge through the use of ICT.
  • Resource materials and expertise shared between schools.
  • Promote a concept of teaching and learning through a local community network.
