ICT in Teaching Mathematics and English (SIP009)
This project developed a programme which integrated the use of ICT in the delivery of the English and Mathematics curricula.

Project Aims
  • To develop a programme that will utilise ICT in the delivery of the English and Mathematics curricula.
  • To allow children to learn at their own pace.
  • To allow children to approach learning in a new and exciting way.
  • To improve children's presentation techniques.
  • To engage parents in the planning and delivery of the project.
Indicative Outcomes
  • Development of teaching resources and strategies.
  • Monitoring the performance of the participating children in English and Mathematics and recording any changes in the standards being reached.
  • Training of teachers in the use of ICT in teaching.
  • Increasing pupils' comfort at using technology as a tool for learning.
  • Increasing parents comfort with the use of technology.
