Using a light sensor |
This buggy runs over and back on a white sheet. The light-sensor has a little lamp which shines downwards on the sheet, and a light-sensor which measures the reflected light. When it passes over a dark part, the light sensor tells the RCX that the light it receives is now low, and the RCX reverses the direction of the motor. |

The Program We attach the three jig-saw programming blocks as shown on the left by dragging them into place with the mouse. We turn on the motor attached to Output A and we use the Light-sensor Watcher to reverse the motor if the light level falls below 51. The light sensor is attached to Input 3. © Fifth Class |
