Nature Diary-2^nd Class-4^th  November - Sc. Treasa, Donore Ave.

Today Miss Walshe brought us to the garden .  We planted  acorns in milk cartons.  First we put potting compost into the carton.  We left some space at the top for watering.  Next we pushed the acorn down.  Mr. Madden told us it would grow into an oak and live for 800 years.  When we came in we put the cartons in a cold place.  We put plastic on top to keep them from getting dry.
