Teachers and pupils participating in S.I.P No 22 were invited to participate in the ESAT Young Scientist of the Year in the R.D.S. Dublin.

Togher N.S., Dunmanway, Co. Cork.,  Clonown N.S. Co. Roscommon, Scoil Treasa Naofa, Donore Avenue, Dublin and Dalkey School Project N.S., Co. Dublin were represented. 

Visitors to the S.I.P. 22 stand included the Minister of Education – Michéal Martin, Garrett Fitzgerald – former Taoiseach, Dept of Education inspectors and Eircom Education officials who are sponsoring the project.  They were very impressed with the high calibre of work already collated in the project.
