The use of Powerpoint in Infants, for Resource/Learning Support Teachers

Create a slide show based on the words for your reading scheme. Even have just 5 words in each show. On each slide have a scanned image of a potato/Molly etc, the word in a text box in the font style of Comic Sans/National First Font. Then insert the recorded sound of your voice or a students voice saying the word. (Use Accessories - Entertainment - Sound Recorder). On each slide have the appropriate word, image and sound. Save the presentation (make copies, just in case). Open the presentation again and remove the images from each of the slides and rename the presentation. Then remove the sounds and rename the presentation again.

So you'll end up with 3 presentations based on your reading scheme. It takes a bit of work but it will be a resource that you will use year after year.
