The Ennis primary Schools Integration project brings together six Primary Schools and two Special Schools in Ennis, Eircom Irelands Information Age Town. Schools are equipped with multimedia PC's at a ratio of one to nine pupils and every pupil and teacher has an Email address. Our project involves the schools working together to investigate the challenges faced through having such a wealth of ICT equipment.
The main areas of investigation are.

  • Management of networked rooms and their effect on the integration of technology with teaching and learning.
  • Technical Support issues.
  • Communication between schools and between home and school.
  • Integration of ICT's with particular reference to the revised curriculum.
  • Software Evaluation - especially that used in Networked rooms.
  • Production of Resources to share with other schools and for the Scoilnet site.
