Art and Artworks Notes and support from this fledgling, Irish, educational, site are specifically designed for the needs of the Irish syllabus at both Leaving and Junior Certificate level. Teachers and Students are further advised that there are resources on all subjects available at Leaving Cert . net and at ScoilNet. These are terrific and totally free sites.

  1. Art Archive of Matt Harden Artists ancient and modern are surveyed in this impressive gallery. Whether you want to see the Passion of Christ or view the works of Claude Monet or Peter Paul RUbens then this is the site to visit.

  21. National Gallery of Art The paintings of Washington, D.C.'s National Gallery Includes a special kids section . You can search for works by your favorite artists using their search engine. Text, photos, graphics, animation

  22. Rembrandt's house in Amsterdam is a museum with a collection of his etchings, plates and drawings, plus paintings of his teacher, pupils and contemporary painters

  23. Rembrandt Research Project, which is compiling a comprehensive catalogue of the paintings of Rembrand Harmensz. van Rijn (1606-1669). The site explains the project, and provides essays on Rembrandt's techniques with details from his paintings. It also includes QuickTime videos with explanations of his work.
