Religion Notes and support from this fledgling, Irish, educational, site are specifically designed for the needs of the Irish syllabus at both Leaving and Junior Certificate level. Teachers and Students are further advised that there are resources on all subjects available at Leaving and at ScoilNet. These are terrific and totally free sites.

  47. The Catholic Encyclopedia. The Catholic Encyclopedia, as its name implies, proposes to give its readers full and authoritative information on the entire cycle of Catholic interests, action and doctrine.

It includes many links to sites of particular interest to Catholic educators. If there is some aspect of religion that you want to research and it is not here then the likelyhood is that it is not any place else either.

  50. The Farmington Institute was founded to support, encourage and improve Christian education in schools, colleges and universities. It is ecumenical in its commitment to the Christian faith, takes a particular interest in, and is keen to develop good relationships with other world religions.

  51. The LOGOS site is now located on the Mater Dei Intranet. To use the Mater Dei Intranet it is necessary to register as a user. This is very simple and free. Please note that only teachers from schools currently authorized by the Department of Education and Science to participate in the Junior Certificate in Religious Education Programme can be accepted for registration.
