  32. Religion Education Exchange Service for Schools Site is maintained by the Department of Religion and Ethics at St Martin's College. RE-XS is an initiative of the ELMAR Project (Electronic Media and Religion), one of the projects run by the department. ELMAR was established in 1995 to investigate and improve the use which religious groups make of information technology.

  44. Starting point for all RE on the Web, this site offers comprehensive resources for all religious educators, including ideas on using IT in religious education and links to other religion sites of interest.

  45. Superb resource which allows users to search several different translations of the bible simultaneously in up to 10 different languages - also includes useful concordance

  47. The Catholic Encyclopedia. The Catholic Encyclopedia, as its name implies, proposes to give its readers full and authoritative information on the entire cycle of Catholic interests, action and doctrine.

  48. Theology/Religion/Catholic Education Resources. This page contains resources and lesson plans for world religions and religious education. It includes many links to sites of particular interest to Catholic educators. If there is some aspect of religion that you want to research and it is not here then the likelyhood is that it is not any place else either.

  50. The Farmington Institute was founded to support, encourage and improve Christian education in schools, colleges and universities. It is ecumenical in its commitment to the Christian faith, takes a particular interest in, and is keen to develop good relationships with other world religions.

  51. The LOGOS site is now located on the Mater Dei Intranet. To use the Mater Dei Intranet it is necessary to register as a user. This is very simple and free. Please note that only teachers from schools currently authorized by the Department of Education and Science to participate in the Junior Certificate in Religious Education Programme can be accepted for registration.

  52. The Sexuality Information and Education Council of the U.S. (SIECUS) is a national, nonprofit organization which affirms that sexuality is a natural and healthy part of living. Incorporated in 1964, SIECUS develops, collects, and disseminates information, promotes comprehensive education about sexuality, and advocates the right of individuals to make responsible sexual choices.
